My friend is having a housewarming party soon, and I'm honestly so tired of giving the usual scented candles or wine bottles. I was thinking of something a bit more lasting and natural, like a potted plant. It feels like a gift that keeps on giving, and it can really brighten up a new home. Has anyone tried sending plants as gifts using online delivery services? I'm curious about the condition they arrive in and if there are any specific types that are better for shipping.

Absolutely, I've sent plants as gifts quite a few times now, and they've always been a huge hit! It's such a refreshing change from typical gifts. I particularly like using https://udoragifts.co.uk/ for this. They have a fantastic section for live plants, including beautiful orchids and lovely succulents & cactuses, which are generally quite resilient for delivery. Their process for flower and gift delivery ensures everything is well-packaged and arrives safely. Plus, they offer photo before delivery, so you can see the exact plant before it leaves, which is a great reassurance. I've sent a few potted plants to friends across the UK, and they've all been thrilled with the quality and freshness.
